O hře

The House of the Dead 2 je first-person arkádová střílečka s lehkou pistolí s hororovým tématem a druhá hra série The House of the Dead. Přímý sequel originálu byl vyvinut Segou pro arkády na Sega NAOMI boardu v listopadu 1998, následně přenesen na Dreamcast v roce 1999 a Windows v roce 2001. Je k nalezení také na Xbox jako odemykatelný bonus v The House of the Dead III. Hra je součástí kompilace The House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return pro Wii. Dreamcast verze se stala titulem Sega All Stars.
