O hře
Link: The Faces of Evil vznikl jako výsledek kompromisu mezi Nintendem a Philipsem poté, co se jim nepodařilo vydat CD-ROM přídavek pro Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Od běžných her série Zelda se liší tím, že jde o plošinovku s bočním pohledem, podobně jako The Adventure of Link. Do úrovní se vstupuje z mapy světa a další se zpřístupňují, jakmile Link vyčistí oblast nebo porazí bosse. Hra sklidila mnoho kritiky a Nintendo ji neuznává jako součást série.
