Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor je open-world akční RPG od Monolith Productions zasazené do Tolkienovy Středozemě. Hra se odehrává v 60letém mezidobí mezi Hobbitem a Pánem prstenů. Sleduje Taliona – obyčejného muže, který přichází o vše včetně smrtelného života. Klíčovou funkcí je Nemesis systém: každý nepřítel má vlastní jméno, hodnost a paměť a přizpůsobuje se setkáním s hráčem.
