The Sims Bustin' Out je druhý titul série konzolových Sims a první titul The Sims, který nevyšel na PC. Využívá stejné 3D prostředí a engine jako předchozí hra, ale přidává řadu funkcí z rozšíření The Sims: Hot Date, The Sims: Superstar a The Sims: Livin' Large. Bustin' Out vyšel pro Game Boy Advance, GameCube, PlayStation 2, Xbox a N-Gage ve čtvrtém čtvrtletí roku 2003. Jak název napovídá, Sims mohou opustit dům a navštěvovat různá místa, jako je Shiny Things Lab nebo Casa Caliente. Hra nabízí dva režimy: Bust Out Mode s misemi a Freeplay Mode jako volná hra podobná původním Sims na PC.
