Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare je čtvrtý díl survival horror série Alone in the Dark. Hráč si může zvolit, za koho z dvou protagonistů hrát. Carnbyho část příběhu se zaměřuje hlavně na boj s monstrami fyzickými prostředky, zatímco Alinino je více centrovano na řešení hádanek. Oba se občas setkají a hlavní zápletky se prolínají.
