Romance of the Three Kingdoms X je desátý díl a pokrývá 147 let čínské historie po pádu dynastie Han. Hráč pohybuje armádami a buduje města pohledem shora. Volba mezi Historickým módem (postavy se drží skutečnosti) a Fiktivním módem (volná ruka). Na výběr je 650 hratelných postav a lze vytvořit přes 100 vlastních generálů.
